MENTORING SERVICES

If you are thinking of starting up in private practice but don’t know where to begin, are an established small business needing a re-think or would value a safe space to discuss your professional options then I could be your mentor.

From a business point of view I am not an 'expert' though I have my experience, the time and interest to support others in their ventures. If you are excited as I am and have an idea that you would like to take forward into a small business or indeed are already developing your ideas but could do with independent support, then I can offer you that protected time, to help you explore realistic goals via motivation and guidance.

To date I have mentored/ am mentoring a:

  • student through her Early Years Postgraduate Certificate in Education
  • fellow health visitor to set up privately offering hypnobirthing, antenatal and postnatal care
  • mum to train as foot care specialist
  • number of student midwives through aspects of their training
  • midwifery colleague gain confidence in working privately as a tongue-tie practitioner

Each session:

  • lasts an hour
  • we will agree specific working agreements specific to your requirements
  • will end with you having some tasks to work on before your next appointment
  • will be documented by me so I have a summary of our discussions and plans for purposes of continuity

Prices:

£45 for the first hour reducing to £30-£35 thereafter. Check prices here.
